I have been honored to serve as your District 1 Supervisor since 2017 where I have been a leader for positive changes in our beautiful community. As a problem-solver and outspoken advocate, I have ensured that all voices are heard and our unique rural qualities are valued. In my 6+ years to date I have successfully championed:

• Investments in wildfire management to protect our homes and livelihoods
• Responsiveness in the face of extreme weather events and power outages
• Housing our houseless communities and proving them adequate wrap-around services
• Universal broadband accessibility for our children, businesses and tele-health needs
• Safe navigation through COVID
• Recreation and trails programs to enhance outdoor accessibility
• More robust policy advocacy for our rural communities at State and National levels
• Transparency and increased community outreach efforts

As your re-elected Supervisor, in my next term I will lead with:

• Proactive collaboration on the Courthouse relocation to protect Nevada City’s character and economy
• Securing additional resources for forest management, fire-safe clearing and Firewise program resources, and evacuation route improvements
• Championing our mental and public health programs, including for our unhoused population
• Developing Master Recreation Plan responsive to recreation and trail use needs
• Responsive constituent services
